Balfour Beatty and the Denver Transit Partners (DTP) joint venture team have completed construction and opened the 11-mile Gold Line (G Line) connecting Union Station in downtown Denver to Wheat Ridge Station in the city’s western suburbs.

The Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce (GLAAACC) has honored Balfour Beatty with its Public Works Contractor of the Year Award as part of its annual Economic Leadership Awards program.

Balfour Beatty and its LAX Integrated Express Solutions (LINXS) joint venture team recently broke ground on the Los Angeles International Airport’s (LAX) Automated People Mover (APM) project for Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). Scheduled for completion in 2023, the LINXS team will design, build, finance, operate and maintain the $4.9 billion project over the next 30 years.

The Carolinas AGC (CAGC) recently honored Balfour Beatty with its prestigious Pinnacle Award for the successful delivery of the Wilmington Bypass Segment B project for the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) in Wilmington, N.C.

Hoffman-Madison Waterfront (HMW) has selected Balfour Beatty to initiate Phase 2, land-side construction at The Wharf. Balfour Beatty’s role in Phase 2 consists of work contracts for all horizontal and public spaces, including site work, utilities, hardscape, and parks.

In coordination with Bridges to Prosperity (B2P), Balfour Beatty recently celebrated the completion of a 430-foot suspended footbridge in the isolated rural Espiritu Santo community near Cochabamba, Bolivia.
