Jeffrey Dorf serves as project development director for Balfour Beatty’s Civils business in the west region, overseeing rail, water/wastewater and other heavy civils pursuits across California and Arizona.

Prior to joining Balfour Beatty in 2022, Jeffrey’s 25 years of industry experience has led to notable project wins. Most recently, he played a key role in alternative delivery pursuits which yielded $1.6 billion in secured contracts across various market segments.

He attended Penn State University and received a bachelor of science in civil engineering prior to earning a master of business administration (MBA) from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jeffrey has had the honor of being previously named the 1997 Pennsylvania Entrepreneur of the Year, by then Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge, as well as receiving the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Arizona Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016.
