Jay Boyd serves as the vice president of operations for Balfour Beatty’s civils business in the southeast region. He brings several decades of extensive supervisory and hands-on experience in complex heavy civil and marine construction projects to the company.

Since joining Balfour Beatty in 1999, Jay has grown from a project manager to specializing in overseeing environmentally sensitive projects within budget and at the highest standards of safety, innovation and quality. He is a licensed tugboat captain, certified crane operator and an expert in working in offshore and coastal marine environments.
